Theresa Firestone

Theresa Firestone is a senior healthcare executive with over 35 years experience in retail, pharmaceuticals, health & wellness and government affairs. Theresa isan accomplished business leader and has held executive positions in Canada, Europe and Asia. Throughout her career in government and the private sector, Theresa has built high performing teams with a focus on driving profitability, execution, customer service and operational excellence.

Prior to retirement in 2021 Theresa was Senior Vice President, Health and Wellness at Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada’s largest retail pharmacy chain. She worked extensively with Pfizer as a senior executive, building Emerging markets in Asia as Regional President (located in Shanghai and HK) and in Europe as Country Manager of Austria. Previously she was General Manager of the Established Products Business Unit, VP Sales and VP of Government Affairs, all with Pfizer Canada.

Theresa is currently a board member with Aurora Cannabis Inc. (NASDAQ: ACB, TSX: ACB), Cybin Inc. (NEO:CYBN, NYSE: Cybin) (Lead Independent Director), Orion Biotechnology, Prollenium Medical Technologies and adMare Bioinnovations. She is also a member of numerous Board committees including Audit, HRCC and Governance and chairs three HRCC committees. She has held board positions with several not-for-profit and industry organizations. Theresa is also a Strategic Advisor to selected companies.
